Iran, Poland Discuss Ukraine Conflict

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski discussed issues related to international peace and security, including the conflict in Ukraine and developments in the West Asia region.

The meeting took place on Monday in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

During the talks, Araqchi criticized the misguided approaches of the European troika regarding Iran’s nuclear program, emphasizing the need for all parties to act responsibly and avoid complicating the situation further.

Araqchi also denounced the aggressive attacks by the Israeli regime and the United States on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, describing them as unprecedented violations of the rule of law and a dangerous example of “the law of the jungle” in international relations.

He warned against the consequences of ignoring such violations and called on all countries to adhere to the principles and objectives of the UN Charter.
