Zionist Bombardment Leaves Dozens Dead in Gaza, Child Starves amid Siege

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Relentless attacks by the Zionist army have left at least 46 Palestinians dead since dawn in Gaza, with hospitals confirming the death of a malnourished three-year-old girl as the humanitarian catastrophe deepens.

Israeli occupation forces intensified their brutal bombardment of Gaza on Saturday, killing at least 46 Palestinians, most of them in Gaza City, according to reports from inside the enclave.

Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that three-year-old Habeeba Abu Shaar died “due to malnutrition and lack of treatment,” highlighting the deadly blockade imposed by the regime.

Residents described another sleepless night under constant drone strikes and remote-controlled explosives planted by Israeli forces in displacement camps and on roads. The use of these weapons has severely restricted movement, leaving people trapped under fire and smoke-filled skies.

At least 31 people were killed inside their homes, including 28 in Gaza City. The deadliest attack struck the Sabra neighborhood, where entire families who had already fled from the Zeitoun district were annihilated. Rescue teams pulled 14 bodies from the rubble while others remain missing.

Eyewitnesses said people are threatened by Israeli soldiers through phone calls to evacuate their homes. Once outside, they face surveillance drones and quadcopters circling neighborhoods, broadcasting threats and chasing civilians into the open where they are exposed to lethal strikes.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 71 Palestinians — including five aid seekers — were killed and 304 injured in the past 24 hours alone. Four more bodies were retrieved from rubble left by previous bombardments.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s genocidal war has killed 65,283 Palestinians and injured 166,575, according to official figures.
