Gaza City Engulfed in Blood, Fire As Zionist Army Pushes toward Full Occupation
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Relentless Israeli airstrikes have left Gaza City in ruins, killing hundreds, displacing nearly half a million people in just three days, and laying the ground for a full-scale ground invasion.
Palestinian sources and regional media report that entire neighborhoods have been flattened as the occupying army pursues what officials in Tel Aviv call the “Gideon’s Chariots 2” plan, openly declared by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israeli forces have deployed across several axes around Gaza City, concentrating in the northeast, northwest, and southern sectors, while fighter jets and artillery continue to pound residential blocks.
Al Jazeera reported that districts including Zeitoun, Sabra, Shuja’iyya, Sheikh Radwan, Tuffah, and Daraj have faced some of the heaviest bombardments, with no sign of Israeli ground vehicles making deep advances into the urban core.
Radio broadcasts from the Israeli army confirmed that units from the 162nd, 98th, and 38th divisions are engaged in the assault.
Military positions are being used to relentlessly target civilian homes, with tanks stationed in al-Sudaniya shelling areas such as al-Karama, Baltuom, and nearby communication facilities.
In the south, Israeli troops have taken control of key streets near Gaza University, striking residential towers in Tel al-Hawa with explosive drones.
Palestinian media, citing eyewitnesses, reported that 400,000 people have been displaced in just three days as bombing intensified.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that an average of 80 people per day have been killed during this period, with many more buried under rubble.
Bombing has also destroyed all major communications towers, cutting internet in northern Gaza, while water supplies have been severed for some 800,000 displaced civilians.
Reports describe a city on the brink of collapse.
Israeli aircraft continue to strike crowded refugee shelters and convoys of civilians attempting to flee, while tanks in the north pushed deeper along al-Jalaa Street for the first time in over a year.
Entire blocks in Abu Iskandar, al-Zarqa, and al-Nafaq have been leveled.
Residents describe a suffocating siege: entire neighborhoods destroyed, food and water scarce, and thousands forced to sleep in the streets.
Israeli helicopters have dropped heavy bombs on civilian zones, while army units planted explosive devices around homes in Sheikh Radwan and Abu Iskandar.
Local sources warn that 80% of Gaza City is now under the occupation army’s direct fire control.
Displaced families are crowding into al-Nasr, Shati refugee camp, and the old city near Gaza’s port.
The scale of destruction suggests that displacement is no longer voluntary but imposed by systematic annihilation of infrastructure, turning Gaza into a wasteland uninhabitable for its people.
