Israel Attacks Another Gaza Tower as Strikes on Qatar Roil Region
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Another high-rise building has been targeted by an Israeli air strike –the seventh major tower recently hit– as the assault to capture Gaza City and force one million Palestinians from their homes continues.
The Zionist regime’s military on Wednesday attacked another Gaza high-rise building in besieged Gaza City.
It was the seventh major tower hit by Israeli forces in recent weeks as they attempt to seize and control the Palestinian territory’s largest urban center.
On Friday, the Israeli military ordered people in Mushtaha Tower, a 12-story building on the western side of Gaza City and surrounded by hundreds of makeshift tents, to evacuate and later struck the building, claiming it was “Hamas infrastructure”.
Meanwhile, widespread global condemnation has erupted after Israel attacked Hamas’s senior leadership in the Qatari capital, Doha, as a US-proposed ceasefire was discussed for the war-battered Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported.
Qatar has condemned the “cowardly” attack and said there was no warning of the strike from the United States.
Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 64,656 people and wounded 163,503 since October 2023.
