Israel Issues Bomb Threats for Another Gaza Residential Tower

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Israeli regime’s military issued new bomb threats against residential buildings in Gaza City, forcing more families into the streets amid relentless strikes that have already flattened entire neighborhoods.

Witnesses said Israeli forces targeted a residential complex in western Gaza City where dozens of displaced Palestinian families had sought refuge. The area, known as the financial intersection, also shelters families who fled earlier bombardments from eastern and northern Gaza.

Within the past hour, two high-rise towers located just 500 metres apart were struck, only 700 metres from another building destroyed a day earlier. One of the towers had already suffered destruction in 2024; now, the remaining two have been reduced to rubble.

The targeted buildings stand opposite UNRWA’s headquarters and near a university complex, compounding the terror among civilians who were given as little as 30 minutes to flee. Residents described scenes of chaos, with families rushing into the streets under Israeli threats to demolish more structures.

Among those threatened are the 15-floor Soussi Tower, located directly in front of the UN headquarters and surrounded by universities and education centres, and the six-floor Al-Ruya building in central Gaza. Both are near the Mushtaha Tower, which Israeli forces bombed yesterday.

The Gaza Health Ministry said at least 68 Palestinians were killed and 362 injured in the past 24 hours alone, including 23 people shot while seeking humanitarian aid. Since Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza began in October 2023, the death toll has risen to at least 64,368, with more than 162,000 wounded.
