Israeli Military Assault Kills 91 Palestinians in West Bank Refugee Camps
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Israeli forces have killed at least 91 Palestinians, including women and children, and displaced thousands in a months-long assault on refugee camps across the occupied West Bank, a Palestinian human rights group reported.
Israeli military operations in the northern West Bank have intensified over the past 120 days, according to a report published by Al-Haq, a rights organization based in Ramallah.
The campaign, described by Al-Haq as “large-scale and vicious,” has focused on governorates including Jenin, Tulkarem, Tubas, and Nablus.
The operations have featured the deployment of snipers, air strikes using reconnaissance drones and Apache helicopters, as well as ground incursions involving tanks, Eitan armored personnel carriers, and D9 and D10 bulldozers, the group stated.
Between January 21 and May 16, 2025, Israeli forces killed 91 Palestinians, among them 13 children and three women, Al-Haq reported.
In Jenin alone, 40 Palestinians were killed, including seven children and one woman, while at least 430 structures were destroyed.
The group added that approximately 16,600 Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from the Jenin refugee camp due to the destruction of homes and camp infrastructure.
