Israeli Forces Kill Four Palestinians in West Bank Strike
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli troops killed four Palestinians during a military raid in Tammun, northeast West Bank, on Thursday, according to Palestinian security sources.
Undercover Israeli special forces stormed the town of Tammun, five kilometers south of Tubas, and surrounded a house before military reinforcements arrived, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
The four men were killed after Israeli forces besieged the house and launched multiple missiles at the building.
Troops then entered the residence and removed the bodies, according to the sources.
The violent attack occurred hours after Israeli forces shot and wounded a young Palestinian man during a separate raid in Azzun, east of Qalqilya.
WAFA cited local reports saying Israeli soldiers entered the town, sparking clashes in which the man was shot in the back.
Sources said troops opened heavy fire and attempted to block ambulances from reaching the wounded individual.
The Israeli military began intensified assaults in the West Bank on January 21 under the pretext of dismantling resistance groups tied to the Jenin Battalion.
Since the start of the Zionist brutal war in Gaza in October 2023, at least 962 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, with over 7,000 others injured, according to Palestinian data.
In July, the International Court of Justice ruled that Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories is illegal and called for the withdrawal of all settlements from the West Bank and East al-Quds.
