Israeli Regime Kills Dozens in Gaza amid Ongoing Genocide
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli occupation forces have killed at least 36 Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip, targeting civilians, including those desperately seeking humanitarian aid, in a new wave of indiscriminate assaults backed by the United States.
Medical sources in Gaza reported that 12 Palestinians were martyred and several others wounded in a barbaric Israeli strike on the Shejaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, eight civilians were shot dead by Israeli forces while waiting for food aid in the Nitzarim area, central Gaza.
In Jabalia Al-Nazla, located in northern Gaza, rescue workers pulled three bodies from beneath the rubble of homes bombed by Israeli warplanes, while five survivors were extracted. Several remain trapped under the debris.
Ten more Palestinians were killed in Israeli bombardments on homes in Deir al-Balah and the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Another body, belonging to a young Palestinian, was retrieved by emergency teams in the town of Abasan near Khan Younis in the south.
In a separate assault, two Palestinians were killed and several wounded as occupation forces targeted a group of civilians near the Omari Mosque in Jabalia Al-Balad.
Despite international outcry and growing legal condemnation, the Zionist regime continues its genocidal campaign with full support and complicity from Washington.
Since October 2023, over 56,000 Palestinians—most of them women and children—have been slaughtered by Israeli forces under the guise of “self-defense.”
In November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ex-defense minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Israel is also being prosecuted at the International Court of Justice on charges of genocide.
