Book about Imam Reza Published in Serbian under Iran’s Cultural Initiative

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A book titled "Imam Reza: The Sage of the Family" has been translated and published in Serbian under the auspices of Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Serbia, aligning with the goals of the Fifth Imam Reza (AS) International Congress.

The publication, originally produced by the Islamic Research Foundation of Imam Reza shrine, was translated and printed in partnership with a local Serbian publisher and the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.

The book emphasizes Imam Reza’s role in interfaith dialogue, with sections dedicated to his debates with scholars of other religions, particularly Christianity.

“This work offers valuable insight for unbiased researchers and enhances understanding of Shiite Islamic teachings,” organizers said.

Structured into eight chapters, the book explores various aspects of Imam Reza’s life, including his spiritual character, political influence, martyrdom, teachings, and the significance of pilgrimage to his shrine.

The work also contains commentary by Serbian translator Aleksandar Dragović, offering additional interpretations for readers.

Incorporating sayings of Imam Reza (AS) and reflections on pilgrimage, the book aims to inspire a spiritual journey from the shrine in Mashhad, Iran, to the promise of paradise.

The Fifth Imam Reza International Congress, held in May, was organized by the Scientific and Cultural Organization of the Imam Reza shrine under the slogan "Justice for All, Oppression for None."
