Persepolis Escapes Loss against Gol Gohar: 2025-26 IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis earned a late 1-1 draw against Gol Gohar in the 2025-26 Iran Professional League (IPL) on Friday.
In the match, held in Tehran’s Shar-e Qods Stadium, Mehdi Tikdari gave Gol Gohar the lead in the 56th minute but his goal was cancelled out by Ali Alipour from the penalty spot in 76th minute.
It was Persepolis’s fifth draw in six matches.
Furthermore, Malavan edged past Kheybar 1-0 in Bandar Anzali, 10-man Aluminum defeated Shams Azar 1-0 and Mes beat Paykan 2-0.
