Iran’s Safarzadeh Bags Silver at 2025 World Para Athletics Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian woman sprinter Hajar Safarzadeh claimed a silver medal at the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships on Wednesday.
She came second with a time of 56.39 seconds at the Women's 400m T12 Final.
Russian sprinter Anna Kulinich-Sorokina had been quicker by a margin of 0.01 seconds.
The bronze medal went to Venezuelan Alejandra Paola Pérez López with a time of 56.66 seconds.
The New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships competition feature 186 medal events (101 men's, 84 women's and one mixed), 15 more than at the last edition of the championships in Kobe.
