Iran’s Moradi Snatches Bronze at 2025 World Para Athletics Championships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Zeinab Moradi of Iran won a bronze medal at the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships on Wednesday.

She finished in third place, throwing 22.06 meters at the Women's Javelin Throw F56. The gold medal went to Latvian Diana Krumina with 26.18 meters. Brazilain athlete Raissa Rocha Machado seized a silver medal with a throw of 23.90 meters.

Iranian shot putters Amir Hossein Alipour and Mahdi Olad had already won a gold and silver medal at the Men's Shot Put F11.

Elham Salehi had also claimed a gold medal at the Women's Javelin Throw F54.

And Javelin thrower Amanolah Papi and shot putter Elham Salehi won two bronze medals.

The New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships competition feature 186 medal events (101 men's, 84 women's and one mixed), 15 more than at the last edition of the championships in Kobe.
