Iran Woman Shot Putter Salehi Wins Bronze at New Delhi 2025
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Elham Salehi of Iran won a bronze medal at the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships on Tuesday.
In the Women's Shot Put F54, Salehi came third with a throw of 7.17 meters.
Mexican Gloria Zarca won gold, throwing 7.97 meters and the silver medal went to Elizabeth Rodrigues Gomes of Brazil with 7.78.
The New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships competition feature 186 medal events (101 men's, 84 women's and one mixed), 15 more than at the last edition of the championships in Kobe.
