Danial Sohrabi Bags Bronze at 2025 World Wrestling Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler Danial Sohrabi claimed a bronze medal at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships on Saturday.
Sohrabi defeated Kazakhstan’s Merey Maulitkanov 8-0 in the 72kg bronze-medal match.
Azerbaijan’s Ulvu Ganizade defeated French wrestler Ibrahim Ghanem 4-2 in the final bout.
The 2025 World Wrestling Championships are being held in Zagreb, Croatia from September 13 to 21.
