Iran, Iraq Sign Security Deal

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A security agreement between Iran and Iraq was signed by the top security officials of the two countries in Baghdad on Monday.

The agreement was signed by Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani and Iraq’s National Security Adviser Qasim al-Araji at an event in the presence of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani.

Larijani has held talks with Araji, Sudani, and Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid during his visit to Baghdad.

The Iranian official is going to visit Lebanon afterwards.
