Iran-Saudi Ties Serve Regional Peace: Araqchi
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi hailed the growing trend in cooperation with Saudi Arabia, saying closer relations between the two Muslim states will strengthen regional peace and stability.
Araqchi made the comments in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Riyadh Alireza Enayati, held in Tehran on Saturday.
The envoy presented a report on the latest status of bilateral relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
For his part, the foreign minister referred to the positive and growing trend of the ties between Tehran and Riyadh, saying cooperation and joint efforts between the two sides would contribute to strengthening peace and stability in the region.
He also underlined the importance of consolidating relations in the bilateral and multilateral fields.
