Larijani Urges Muslim Nations to Form Joint Operation Room against Israel
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani called on Islamic governments to take concrete action against the Israeli crimes and establish a “joint operations room” to counter the Zionist regime’s aggression and protect oppressed Muslims in Palestine.
In a post in Arabic on his X account on Saturday, Larijani criticized Islamic governments for inaction, saying that conferences filled with rhetoric but no practical outcomes are equivalent to giving the Zionist regime a new green light for attacks.
“Warning to Islamic Governments! Holding an Organization of Islamic Cooperation conference full of speeches without practical outcomes (as happens in Security Council meetings) is, in reality, equivalent to issuing a new order of aggression in favor of the Zionist entity!” he said.
“At the very least, establish a ‘joint operations room’ against the madness of this entity,” Larijani stated.
“Such a decision alone would be enough to unsettle the masters of this regime and force them, in haste, to change their orders under the pretext of ‘global peace’ and the ‘Nobel Prize’!” the Iranian official added.
“And because you have done nothing for the starving and oppressed Muslims in Palestine, at least take a modest decision to avoid your own destruction!” Larijani said, addressing the Muslim countries.
Doha is going to play host to an emergency summit of Islamic and Arab leaders on Sunday and Monday, organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, to focus on rallying support for Qatar and condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime.
The Israeli regime on September 9 struck Hamas’s leadership in the Qatari capital, an act of aggression that has drawn widespread international condemnation.
Hamas confirmed that five of its members, including the son of senior leader Khalil al-Hayya, were martyred in the strike. A member of Qatar’s security forces was also killed.
