Iran into 2025 Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship Semis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Pakistan 3-1 (25-23, 25-19, 22-25, 31-29) in the 2nd Asian U-16 Men’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday.
Iran secured its berth in the semifinals despite the loss and also booked a place in the FIVB Volleyball Boys' U-17 World Championship.
Iran will play Japan on Friday, while Pakistan face India.
This top-tier continental event is being held from July 12 to 19 in Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi, Thailand, gathering 16 formidable teams from across Asia to vie not only for regional supremacy but also for four coveted berths at the 2026 Boys’ U-17 World Championship.
