Iran Downs Kazakhstan in 2025 Asian U-16 Volleyball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beat Kazakhstan 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-21) in the Asian Men’s U-16 Volleyball Championship Thailand 2025 on Monday.
Iran had defeated Indonesia 3-1 and Hong Kong 3-0 in its opening matches in Pool B.
This top-tier continental event is being held from July 12 to 19 in Nakhon Pathom and Ratchaburi, Thailand, gathering 16 formidable teams from across Asia to vie not only for regional supremacy but also for four coveted berths at the 2026 Boys’ U-17 World Championship.
The upcoming global tournament features 24 teams, an expansion from its inaugural edition in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2024, which saw 16 teams compete.
