Iranian Greco-Roman Wrestlers Win Medals in World U-20 Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers Ahoura Bouveiri, Mohammad Aboutalebi and Abolfazl Fathi claimed three medals in the 2025 World U-20 Championships on Sunday.
Bouveiri lost to Georgian Anri Putkaradze 10-1 in the final bout of 77kg.
Aboutalebi beat Kristiyan Mulenkov of Bulgaria 9-0 in the 63kg bronze medal match.
Fathi also calmed a bronze medal after defeating Viachaslau Fedaryna (UWW) 5-1 in 130kg.
The 2025 U-20 World Championships took place in Samokov, Bulgaria from August 17-24.
