2025 VNL Week 2: Iran Beats Serbia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Serbia 3-1 (25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23) in the 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Week 2 on Wednesday.
High-scoring opposite Amin Esmaeilnezhad was Iran’s most productive player on the court, registering 31 points, while Drazen Luburić scored 16 points for Serbia.
Iran will face Argentina on June 27 and Germany and the Netherlands in the following days.
The 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League is the seventh edition of the FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament.
It is currently held from 11 June to 3 August 2025, with the final round to take place at the Beilun Gymnasium in Ningbo, China.
