Iran Loses to US in Water Polo Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against the US 23-5 in the 2025 World Aquatics Men's U-20 Water Polo Championships on Wednesday.
Iran had already defeated New Zealand 15-13 and Kazakhstan 16-9 in Group D and lost to Germany 22-6.
Ali Piroozkhah’s young men are scheduled to meet Australia on Friday.
The World Aquatics Men's U20 Water Polo Championships takes place from June 14 to 21 in Zagreb, Croatia. The event is the 23rd edition of the men's Championship.
Hungary is the defending champion.
