Roberto Piazza Remains Iran Volleyball Coach, Official Says
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of Iran’s Volleyball Federation Milad Taghavi says that Roberto Piazza will continue his job as Iran’s head coach.
Following the recent Israeli attacks on Iran, there were rumors that the Italian coach will step down from his role.
Taghavi said Piazza will remain as Team Melli coach.
“Piazza was very sad after hearing the news of the Zionist regime's attacks. He spoke to me many times and said that he considers himself a member of the team at the moment,” Taghavi said.
