Iran Defeats Kazakhstan in Water Polo Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Kazakhstan 16-9 in the 2025 World Aquatics Men's U-20 Water Polo Championships on Monday.
Iran had already defeated New Zealand 15-13 in Group D.
Ali Piroozkhah’s young men have advanced to the next stage as the top team.
The World Aquatics Men's U20 Water Polo Championships takes place from June 14 to 21 in Zagreb, Croatia. The event is the 23rd edition of the men's Championship.
Hungary is the defending champion.
