2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup: Iran Falls Short against Kazakhstan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Kazakhstan 3-1 (14-25, 18-25, 25-22, 24-26) in the 2025 AVC Women's Volleyball Nations Cup on Wednesday.
Team Melli Banovan had defeated Indonesia 3-2, New Zealand 3-1, and the Philippines 3-2 in its previous matches.
Iran is scheduled to play Mongolia on Thursday and will advance to semifinals if it wins the match.
Pool A features Vietnam, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, and India.
The Nations Cup is being held in Hanoi, Vietnam, from June 7 to June 14.
