Iran, UAE Call for Strengthening Muslim Unity
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The presidents of Iran and the United Arab Emirates stressed the need for solidarity among the Islamic nations.
In a telephone conversation on Friday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and his Emirati counterpart Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the Islamic festival of sacrifice.
Pezeshkian emphasized the need for strengthening unity and convergence among the Islamic nations, expressing hope that Eid al-Adha would help establish tranquility and sustainable security across the Islamic world.
Pezeshkian also noted that this occasion symbolizes solidarity and unity among the Muslim nations, who share the same holy divine book and great Prophet.
The UAE president, for his part, expressed hope that Eid al-Adha would help improve relations among Islamic nations.
