Iran, UAE FMs Hold Talks on Regional Security, Bilateral Relations

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araqchi and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan met in Abu Dhabi on Monday to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

The two officials reviewed the current state of bilateral relations across various sectors.

They also exchanged views on regional developments and emphasized the need for greater cooperation and coordination between their countries to bolster regional security and stability.

Araqchi strongly condemned the continued killings and displacement of Palestinian Muslims in Gaza and the West Bank by the Israeli regime.

He also denounced Israel's attacks on Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen, calling the regime's expansionism and ongoing violations of international law unacceptable.

He said serious regional and Islamic action is necessary to confront the expansionism and continuous violations of international law by the occupying regime.

The meeting also addressed the ongoing indirect talks between Iran and the United States.

Araqchi briefed his Emirati counterpart on the latest developments related to these negotiations.
