Israeli Regime Shows No Mercy to Any Nation, Larijani Warns

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani warned upon his arrival in Beirut that the Zionist regime spares no country from its aggression, urging regional states to strengthen cooperation in the face of common threats.

Speaking to reporters after landing in Beirut on Saturday, Larijani said one of the main purposes of his trip is to attend a ceremony commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Seyed Hashem Safieddine, who sacrificed their lives in defense of their nation.

He noted that since his last visit to Beirut, the region has witnessed significant changes that have further exposed the true nature of the Zionist regime. “The positions that martyr Nasrallah voiced decades ago are now evident to all,” he stressed.

Larijani warned that the Israeli regime has no mercy toward any nation, pointing to the recent incident in Qatar as a clear example. “This has pushed many countries to seek mechanisms for mutual cooperation, which is the correct path and one that we fully support,” he said.

Highlighting the deep-rooted ties between Iran and Lebanon, Larijani emphasized that the two nations enjoy historic friendship, which has only strengthened in recent years.

He further expressed optimism about the future of the region, saying the wave of awakening is on the rise.

During his stay in Beirut, Larijani is scheduled to meet Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and hold talks with Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
