Jahanbakhsh Leaves Heerenveen
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian footballer Alireza Jahanbakhsh has announced his departure from Eredivisie side Heerenveen.
The 32-year-old winger joined Heerenveen last November. However, the Dutch club chose not to extend his contract, and the Iranian player has now left the team.
In a message on Instagram, Jahanbakhsh said, “As my journey with SC Heerenveen comes to an end, I want to sincerely thank the club, my teammates, the staff, and the amazing fans for all the support and great memories. Although it was a short stay, it’s been an honor to wear this shirt with the beautiful Pompebleden on it. I wish the club nothing but success in the future.”
Jahanbakhsh has been linked with several Iranian football teams.
