Iran Runner-Up in 2025 Asian Beach Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Oman 2-0 in the 2025 Asian Beach Handball Championship final on Thursday.
Team Melli had defeated Pakistan, India, Jordan, the Philippines, and the Maldives earlier in the competition held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman, from May 6 to 14.
Team Melli also qualifies for the Beach Handball World Championship as one of the top two teams.
It was the second time that the competition was hosted by the Oman Handball Association (OHA).
