Iran Advances to 2025 Asian Beach Handball Championship Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Pakistan 2-0 in the 2025 Asian Beach Handball Championship semi-finals on Tuesday.
Team Melli had defeated Pakistan, India, Jordan, the Philippines, the Maldives earlier.
Iran will meet winner of Oman and Jordan in the final match on Thursday.
Team Melli also qualifies for the Beach Handball World Championship as one of top two teams.
The tournament is taking place at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman, from May 6 to 14.
It is the second time that the competition is hosted by the Oman Handball Association (OHA).
