Omid Alishah to Miss Esteghlal Khuzestan Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team’s captain Omid Alishah will be absent in an upcoming match against Esteghlal Khuzestan.
Alishah had missed the match against Shams Azar on Sunday, when the Reds suffered a 3-2 loss in Qazvin.
The 34-year-old winger suffers a knee injury. Persepolis fears that the injury could keep him out for the remainder of the season, as his absence will be a huge blow to the club.
Persepolis sits third in the Iran football league.
