Persepolis Captain Alishah Released from Hospital
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team captain Omid Alishah was discharged from hospital on Wednesday.
He was released after head CT scan in Doha. He broke his nose after collision with an Al Rayyan player and will undergo surgery in Tehran.
His absence in the match against Iraqi side Al Shorta will be a big blow to Persepolis.
Persepolis will meet Al Shorta in a must-win game on Matchday six of the 2024/25 AFC Champions League Elite in Doha.
The Iranian side sits ninth in the 12-team table, while the eight top teams will qualify for the next stage.
