Vahid Hashemian A Candidate to Lead Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Former VfL Bochum forward Vahid Hashemian is a candidate to take charge of Iran’s Persepolis football club.
Hashemian, who has played in Bundesliga sides VfL Bochum, Bayern Munich, Hannover 96, and Hamburger SV, has been considered a replacement for İsmail Kartal.
Hashemian, 48, most recently worked as the Iran national football team coach.
Other potential candidates to replace Kartal include former China national team coach Branko Ivankovic, Brazilian coach Osmar Loss Vieira, and Foolad’s Yahya Golmohammadi.
