Iran, Azerbaijan to Hold Naval Exercise in Caspian Sea
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Naval forces from Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan are going to stage a joint drill in the Caspian Sea.
The maritime rescue and relief exercise, AZIREX 2024, will take place in the Caspian Sea on Monday, November 4.
The theme of the exercise will be “Cooperation for Peace and Friendship”.
The purpose of the joint drill is to strengthen collective security in the region, promote multilateral cooperation, and display the goodwill and capabilities of the countries to safeguard peace and maritime security.
