Israeli Forces Intensify Raids across West Bank
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli occupation forces conducted multiple raids in the West Bank, arresting at least 15 Palestinians and targeting homes and towns across Nablus, Bethlehem, and Hebron (Al-Khalil), Wafa reported.
Israeli troops stormed Nablus and the nearby al-Ein refugee camp, damaging homes and detaining four Palestinians.
In Bethlehem and Hizma near Jerusalem al-Quds, forces blocked town entrances and distributed threatening leaflets, according to Wafa.
Analyst Luciano Zaccara told Al Jazeera that the Zionist regime never intended to reach a ceasefire, emphasizing its aim to annex West Bank and Gaza territories.
He said Israel would not allow a Palestinian entity to survive politically, noting that “there are no more carrots in this conversation, it is only sticks.”
Zaccara added that Israel’s real objective is to vacate Gaza to seize it as Israeli territory.
Further raids in the West Bank saw five arrests near Hebron.
In Salfit, Israeli forces detained five, including a Fatah leader, and confiscated cash and jewelry from another home.
A military checkpoint in Beit Dajan near Nablus led to vehicle searches and one arrest.
Israeli troops also arrested one Palestinian in Bethlehem.
