Yemen Condemns Western Move to Reinstate Sanctions on Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Yemen’s foreign ministry denounced the European troika and the United States for reviving sanctions against Iran, slamming them for serving Israeli interests through hostile and coercive measures.
In a statement, the Yemeni foreign ministry condemned the European troika’s decision to restore sanctions on Iran.
The ministry said that despite Iran’s approach of dialogue and cooperation, Washington and European capitals had responded with intensified pressure and aggressive actions aligned with Israeli policies.
It added that the strategy of pressure, extortion, and sanctions will fail and cannot break the will of free nations.
The ministry declared that the so-called European troika and the United States bear full responsibility for the consequences of reimposing sanctions on Iran.
The statement warned that any escalation would threaten both regional and international security.
