Iranian President Urges Joint Action to Implement Agreements with China
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the necessity of cooperation across multiple sectors to bring the recently signed agreements with China into effect, urging that tangible steps should follow the constructive talks held during his visit to Beijing.
Speaking to Iranian expatriates in the Chinese capital on Tuesday, Pezeshkian described the dialogues and exchanges during his trip as fruitful, noting the positive and forward-looking nature of the discussions.
“We have reached good understandings and agreements; now the challenge is to translate them into practice,” he said. The president underlined that experts in scientific, industrial, commercial, and other fields carry the responsibility of ensuring these accords are effectively realized.
Pezeshkian highlighted the improvement in Iran’s relations with other countries, particularly its neighbors and allies, which has paved the way for stronger cooperation.
He emphasized that Iran and China, as inheritors of two ancient and distinguished civilizations, must not fall behind newer nations in development. “By drawing on our shared history, science, culture, and civilization -and by working together- we can bring prosperity to our nation,” he remarked.
The president further underscored the importance of international engagement to remain aligned with global progress. Without such interaction, he warned, opportunities for growth would remain limited. He urged Iranians abroad to acquaint themselves with global achievements, arguing that this broader perspective could enrich their contributions to Iran’s advancement.
On the regional issues, Pezeshkian condemned the Israeli regime’s aggressive actions, attributing its ongoing crimes to advanced weaponry and technological support provided by the United States and its Western allies.
