Esteghlal Cancels Contract with Issa Alekasir
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Esteghlal football club parted company with Issa Alekasir by mutual consent on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old forward had joined Esteghlal, the archrival of Persepolis, on a one-year contract in July.
Esteghlal has completed the signing of Albanian striker Jasir Fadil Asani.
Alekasir did not meet expectations during his last season with Persepolis.
He has reportedly been linked with Malavan and Kheybar.
