OIC to Hold Gaza Meeting on August 25
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is going to hold an emergency ministerial meeting on August 25 to discuss the Gaza crisis, an Iranian deputy foreign minister announced.
Kazem Gharibabadi said on Thursday that the emergency meeting of the OIC foreign ministers will be held in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah on August 25.
He said the meeting will be held at the request of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi in the wake of the Israeli regime’s brutal crimes in the Gaza Strip.
The proposal made by Araqchi for an emergency OIC meeting on the Gaza crisis has been supported by a number of Muslim countries.
The Zionist regime’s war on Gaza has killed at least 61,776 people and wounded 154,906 since October 2023.
