Iranian, UK Diplomats Discuss Regional Security
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson and the British ambassador to Tehran held talks about issues concerning regional peace and security.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei announced in a post on his X account that he held a meeting with the British envoy to Tehran on Wednesday.
“I met and talked with the UK Ambassador Hugo Shorter this morning in my office,” he said.
“We discussed matters of concern to regional and int'l peace and security and the need for all States to shoulder their responsibilities under int'l law,” Baqaei stated.
