Over 60,000 Palestinians Killed As Israel Intensifies Brutal Onslaught on Gaza

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israel's relentless military campaign in Gaza has pushed the death toll past 60,000, with scores more killed in recent attacks on aid centers, residential areas, and so-called “safe zones,” further exposing the regime’s ongoing massacre of a besieged civilian population.

The Gaza Health Ministry announced that the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces since October has climbed to at least 60,034.

In the last 24 hours alone, 113 bodies were brought to hospitals across Gaza, raising the toll as medical staff struggle to cope under collapsing infrastructure.

The total number of wounded has now reached 145,870, according to the ministry’s data.

Despite claims of humanitarian “pauses,” Israel continues to target civilians waiting for aid.

At least 62 Palestinians were killed since dawn Tuesday, including 19 people trying to receive food and supplies.

Fifteen were injured near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, where Israeli snipers and drones fired on a crowd near an aid distribution point, Al-Awda Hospital reported.

The number of injured from that single attack has now risen to 38.

One of the most savage Israeli assaults in recent weeks was carried out overnight in central Gaza.

Thirty Palestinians were killed in the Nuseirat refugee camp as Israeli tanks, drones, and reportedly booby-trapped robotic devices tore through civilian homes.

Among the dead were 12 children and 14 women.

Eyewitnesses described seeing mutilated bodies and shattered families, with many of the victims arriving at hospitals in pieces.

In southern Gaza, in the supposedly protected al-Mawasi zone, Israel bombed a tent sheltering displaced people.

A father and his three children were killed in the attack.

The same area, falsely labeled a “safe zone” by Israeli authorities, has faced repeated bombardments since the war began.

Medical teams in Khan Younis reported seven Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces near aid centers north of Rafah.

Another four were killed in a separate Israeli airstrike on tents housing displaced families.

The destruction is compounded by a Israeli-made famine now overtaking the territory.

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) warned that famine conditions are no longer hypothetical in Gaza — they are a present and expanding catastrophe.

The IPC confirmed that thresholds for food deprivation and acute malnutrition have already been breached across most of the Strip.

Its latest report stated that food consumption has collapsed, with one in three Gazans going without food for entire days.

More than 20,000 children were admitted for acute malnutrition treatment between April and mid-July.

Over 3,000 children are already suffering from severe, life-threatening hunger.

The IPC had previously warned in May that by September the entire Gaza population would descend into acute food insecurity, with over half a million expected to face starvation and complete deprivation.

That projection is now being realized ahead of schedule.

As the regime in Tel Aviv continues its indiscriminate war on a starving, displaced civilian population, scenes of mass death, famine, and devastation only deepen across Gaza.

No area is safe.

No humanitarian law is being respected.

And the cost — over 60,000 lives — continues to rise.
