Europe-Based Muslim Organizations Condemn Israel’s Brutal Assault on Gaza
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Muslim organizations representing over 15,000 mosques across Europe denounced Israel’s deliberate annihilation of Palestinian life and infrastructure in Gaza, demanding urgent international intervention to end the bloodshed.
A coalition of prominent Muslim institutions convened in Brussels and issued a joint statement condemning Israel’s savage campaign against the besieged Palestinian population.
The organizations declared that the scale of destruction has surpassed any notion of warfare, describing it as the systematic erasure of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure and livelihoods.
They emphasized that international bodies have already accused Israel of perpetrating genocide against Palestinians.
The statement was signed by the Coordination Council of Muslims in Germany, the French Council of Muslim Faith, and the Islamic Council of Norway, among others.
They demanded an immediate ceasefire, the unconditional release of all captives and arbitrarily detained civilians, and unrestricted humanitarian access to the devastated enclave.
The coalition also called for formal recognition of a sovereign Palestinian state.
