Osmar Loss Shortlisted to Lead Persepolis
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Brazilian coach Osmar Loss Vieira has been shortlisted to take over as head coach of Iran’s Persepolis Football Club.
Turkish coach İsmail Kartal recently parted ways with the Iranian giant due to family reasons.
Osmar, who guided Persepolis to the championship in the 2023-24 Iran Pro League (IPL), left the team to assume the head coach position at Thai League 1 club Buriram United.
Other potential candidates to replace Kartal include former China national team coach Branko Ivanković and Foolad’s Yahya Golmohammadi.
