Will of Iranian Nation, Armed Forces Unshakable: Top Commander
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces underlined the people and Armed Forces’ success in defending the country and imposing defeat on the enemies following their acts of aggression.
No desperate act can shake the ironclad will of the Iranian nation and Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said in a statement released on Thursday, which is as follows:
“The resistant, vigilant, and honorable nation of Iran,
Following the act of aggression by the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran—carried out with the knowledge, support, and backing of the criminal United States—your courageous sons in the Armed Forces mobilized their strength and capabilities to deliver a painful and extensive response to the invading Zionist enemy. Despite widespread media and propaganda censorship, the evidence of destruction left behind in the occupied territories, from the south to the north, indicates that critical military, strategic, and research centers have been reduced to ashes.
As the officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran have repeatedly stated, Iran has never been and will never be the initiator of war. However, if any aggression is directed against the territorial integrity of our nation, we will determine the outcome and conclusion of that war and invasion.
In this recent imposed war, in addition to the direct involvement of the US, although the Zionist regime was at the forefront of the aggression against Iran, the intelligence, logistical, and operational capabilities of Western countries—especially NATO—were fully at the service of the aggressor.
Despite this, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on their domestic and military capabilities and the comprehensive support of the people, halted the enemy’s war machine by inflicting heavy losses.
The multi-layered air defense systems in the occupied territories, previously portrayed to global public opinion as impenetrable, were rendered defenseless against Iran’s powerful ballistic missiles and drones. Throughout this war, the residents of the occupied territories found no safe haven, not even in shelters.
The direct involvement of the US in the military attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities, though an attempt to save the Zionist regime from Iran’s missile and drone strikes, was met with a powerful response from our Armed Forces in their attack on the US’ Al-Udeid base. This demonstrated that no desperate act can shake the ironclad will of the Iranian nation and Armed Forces in confronting the aggressors. Consequently, American leaders resorted to begging through some regional countries and effectively surrendered to the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In conclusion, while sincerely thanking the heroic nation of Iran for their unwavering and widespread support of their brave sons in the Armed Forces, we once again warn the Zionist enemy and its supporters that we are closely monitoring their movements. Should they repeat any strategic miscalculation, the aggressors will be cast into the abyss of history.”
The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that have resulted in the martyrdom of hundreds of Iranians, including top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.
The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III that inflicted heavy losses on cities across the occupied territories.
