Israeli Targets Hit by 14 Iranian Missiles before Truce: IRGC
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said it fired 14 ballistic missiles at the Zionist regime on Tuesday morning in the latest round of retaliatory attacks before a ceasefire was imposed on the enemy.
The IRGC said on Tuesday that the 22nd wave of Iran’s attacks against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III was launched in the morning in the final minutes before a ceasefire imposed on the enemy came into effect.
In the most recent wave of strikes, the Iranian forces fired 14 missiles to hit the Zionist regime’s military and logistical centers across the occupied Palestinian territories in response to the blind crimes the Israeli regime committed on Monday night, the IRGC stated.
It said the terrorist and criminal Zionist regime, which has been frustrated by the Iranian nation’s defense and desperately implored the US to push for a ceasefire, conducted a brutal strike on Monday night that resulted in the martyrdom of a number of Iranians.
The Iranian Armed Forces managed to impose their will on the Zionist enemy and continue to monitor the hostile movements vigilantly, the IRGC stated.
The Zionist regime waged an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on June 13. It carried out airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites that have resulted in the martyrdom of over 600 Iranians, including top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens.
The Iranian military forces started counterattacks immediately afterwards. The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force carried out 22 waves of retaliatory missile strikes against the Zionist regime as part of Operation True Promise III that inflicted heavy losses on cities across the occupied territories.
