Hybrid Offense in Progress against Iran: IRGC Spokesman
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Iran is facing an act of aggression that includes a combination of all components of power.
Commenting on the Israeli regime’s act of aggression against Iran, General Ali Mohammad Naeini said that an offense with a hybrid of all components of power is being carried out against Iran.
Denouncing hostile attempts to upset the Iranian nation’s calm, the spokesman echoed the remarks by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei that Iran will strike back at the enemy with crushing and destructive force.
He noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has grown stronger in all fields constantly although the enemies have assassinated Iranian military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary people.
General Naeini also condemned the Israeli regime’s airstrike on the Iranian state broadcasting, saying the brazen crime has been committed against a media outlet that has no links with any military or nuclear center.
Media works in tandem with the battlefield, the IRGC spokesman noted, saying the Zionist regime is afraid of the function of media outlets because they display the realities and direct the minds.
Two staffers at the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) as well as a journalist were martyred and several other staff and journalists were injured following the Israeli airstrike that targeted one of the state TV’s buildings on Monday evening.
The Iranian military forces have launched several rounds of retaliatory missile strikes against the Israeli targets since June 13 after the Zionist regime attacked Iran.
The Zionist regime’s unprovoked act of aggression and airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear, military and residential sites have resulted in the martyrdom of top military commanders, nuclear scientists and ordinary citizens, including 45 women and children.
