Israeli Drone Strike Damages Hospital in Western Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian authorities have denounced a deadly drone attack by Israel that struck Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah, severely damaging the medical facility and injuring medical staff and patients.

A drone strike early Monday targeted the Farabi Hospital in Kermanshah and nearby buildings, causing extensive damage and prompting swift rescue operations, local officials said.

Governor Manouchehr Habibi described the assault as a “barbaric crime committed by the Zionist regime” and emphasized the need for uninterrupted emergency services.

“The rapid mobilization of relief and medical teams is essential,” Habibi said in a statement issued shortly after the incident.

He added that the province’s crisis management unit was on full alert and had instructed all relevant bodies to deploy necessary resources for rescue, treatment of potential casualties, and ensuring public safety.

The attack occurred around 9 a.m. local time, severely damaging various sections of the Farabi medical center.

Emergency crews were immediately dispatched to the scene, and relief operations are ongoing.

Authorities have yet to release an official casualty count, but local sources indicate that several injuries are likely.
