Iran’s Olfati Snatches Gold in 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mahdi Olfati of Iran won a gold medal in the men's vault of the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships on Sunday.
He finished in first place with a score of 14.5.
China's Huang Mingqi (14.4) took the silver and two-time Olympic champion Carlos Yulo of the Philippines settled for a bronze with a 14.333.
On Saturday, Siavash Siahi Kolankouh had won a bronze medal on rings.
The competition is being held in Jecheon, South Korea from June 5 to 8.
Delegates from 20 Asian federations gather to mark the start of the 18th Junior and 12th Senior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) Championships.
Abolfazl Nikkhoo, Amir Mohammad Rahmani, Amir Abbas Mojahed, Pooria Amanifar and Saeid Elahi represent Iran in the event.
