US Children's Content Maker Condemns Silence on Israel’s Killings in Gaza
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ms Rachel, a widely followed American YouTube personality known for her educational content for children, has criticized global leaders for ignoring Israel’s mass killing in Gaza, which have killed tens of thousands, including children.
"You saw the doctor who had her nine children come to her who had been killed. You saw the little girl walking through the fire," Ms Rachel said in a video shared on Instagram.
“It’s never been wrong to say not to starve children, not bomb children, and not to kill 15,000 children. What’s wrong is to be silent.”
Ms Rachel has increasingly used her platform to draw attention to the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
Last week, she met with a three-year-old girl from Gaza who had lost both her legs in an Israeli airstrike.
Her comments come as Israeli bombardment continues across the enclave.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, the bodies of 60 people and 284 injured have been brought to local hospitals in the past 24 hours.
The ministry noted that these figures do not include northern areas of Gaza, where Israeli military operations have severely restricted access.
Officials added that many casualties remain trapped under rubble in areas rescuers cannot reach.
Earlier on Friday, an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced families in Gaza City’s Shati area.
The attack killed a family of five — a man, his wife, and their three children — according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.
With these latest deaths, the total number of Palestinians killed since the genocidal Zionist war began has risen to 54,381, Gaza’s Health Ministry reported. An additional 124,054 people have been wounded.
